Caught
On this day I experimented with street portraits. But before I started asking my models for permission, I managed to take this amusing shot.
As I approached the Jardin du Palais Royale, I noticed a little girl in the distance, walking hand in hand with her mother or grandmother. She looked very cute in her ballet tutu and ponytails on her head. From the woman's behaviour it seemed to me that they were late for some kind of children's party.
Fearing nothing, I pointed the camera at them. But suddenly, before I could click the shutter, the little girl, as if sensing something, abruptly turned her head in my direction.
I was not ready for such a turn, and hiding my eyes, tried to quickly pass them.
But suddenly, just around the corner, I almost bumped into an absolutely identical little girl with the ponytails!
The two girls reunited and continued on their way together, leaving me, confused and surprised.
